LI Whalers Navy 7 - LI Storm 0 -- Anthony Pfieffer (Commack) pitched a complete game shutout for the Whalers. Outfielder Jason Weiner (Oceanside) went two for two, plating two runs.
The Storm’s Mike Scicutella (Seaford) pitched three scoreless innings. Brian Murphy (Sewanhaka) was one for three at the plate.

Connecticut Blue Jays 15U 15 - Storm Academy 1 -- Centerfielder Sal Frosceno (Derby) was two for two with three stolen basens, two RBIs, and two runs scored to lead the Blue Jays. Rightfielder Will Bruschi (Wilton) was also two for two, with two RBIs and a double. Scott Lusita (Bethel) pitched five strong innings, allowing just two hits and one run.
Storm Academy’s Chris DeSimone (Garden City) went two for two, including a home run.

NY Thunder 4 - Connecticut Blue Jays 15U 0 -- Thunder shortstop Dominick Confredo (Hauppauge) was two for three with one RBI. Ken “KJ” Hill (Sachem East) pitched a complete game shutout, giving up five hits. Emerson Gross (Newfield) stroked a clutch two RBI single.

Connecticut Blue Jays 16U 13 - East Meadow Mustangs 3

LI Braves 5 - Whalers 16 Blue 1 -- Braves pitchers Rob Fitzpatrick (Massapequa) and Matt Helford (Massapequa) combined for 6 2/3 innings of no-hit ball. First baseman Frank Emanuele (Trinity) was two for two with a double knocking in two.

Connecticut Blue Jays 16U 9 - LI Storm 0 - Blue Jays pitcher Ryan Reuther (Wilton) hurled a compete game two hit shutout, striking out six while walking only one. Chuck Ameer (Weston) hit a three run homerun over the left field fence and walked once.

North Shore Cougars 8 - East Meadow Mustangs 5 -- Cougars centerfielder Anthony Telesca (Sachem East) had two doubles and a walk, knocking in one and scoring twice. Pitcher Troy Schmidt (Centereach) pitched three innings, allowing two earned runs while striking out three and walking just one.
The Mustang’s Sean Betterly (East Meadow) had a run scoring double. Second baseman Jack Ritter (Longwood) had two stolen bases, a double, and a run scored.

LI Braves Gold 7 - NY Thunder 3 -- Braves pitcher Matt O’Connor (Kellenberg) pitched 6 2/3 innings, striking out five while allowing just two earned runs. Shortstop Phil Dennis (East Northport) hit a two run home run that went about 350 feet, over the left field fence. EH Anthony Bencivnga (Holy Trinity) went two for two with two RBIs.
Thunder left fielder Kelvin Mancebo (Brentwood) went two for three, scoring once and swiping a base. Shortstop Will Lutjen (Miller Place) was two for three at the plate with two RBIs. He also had four putouts from short.
