Cardinals 8 – Red Birds 4
The Cardinals took care of business and swept the Red Birds in a best of three game playoff series. In Game 2, Brian Russell (Staten Island) got the start for the Cardinals and had a no-hitter going into the sixth inning. Russell had eight strikeouts and and moved to 3-0 on the season with thinos win. Michael Stack (Adelphi) had one hit and two RBI's. Thomas Midolo (Pace) had three hits, scored two runs, and had one RBI. Tyler Bivona (Pace), Lucas Valles (American International), and Louis Matarazzo (Catawba Valley) each had one RBI. Andrew Nunez (Caldwell) had two stolen bases and scored two runs.
