Sand Sharks 4 - Atlantics 3
The Sand Sharks scored three unanswered runs in the final two innings to defeat the Atlantics on Thursday evening at Queens College. Down 3-1 in the 6th, Niko Bedell (Becker) hit a pinch-hit, two-run double to tie the game. An inning later, Paul Rapoli (Dominican) darted home on a wild pitch and slid in safely to score the winning run. With a perfect inning in relief, Naved Asif (North Central Texas College) picked up the win in his first NACBL appearance of the season.
