Tonight's game was ended after seven innings due to the mercy rule. James Scagnelli (SUNY Old Westbury) pitched a complete game shutout, striking out nine batters, and issued zero walks. Dan Hopkins (Farfield) had one hit, which was the home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to end the game. Eddie Vicinanza (Palm Beach Atlantic) had two hits, three stolen bases, and scored two runs. Chris Appel (Nassau) and Mike Cundari (St. Joseph's Bklyn) each had one hit and scored two runs.
