Whalers 9 – Shamrocks 1 (F/6)
Greg Dawber’s (St. Thomas Aquinas) lone hit of the game was a three-run home run in the fifth inning that broke the game open for the Whalers, who continue to hold the best record in the NACBL. John Tsiolis (Briarcliffe) had three hits and three RBIs as the Whalers pounded out 15 hits in just five innings. William Humes (Salve Regina) pitched all six innings and struck out six batters while only allowing one run on two hits and four walks. After six innings, the Whalers were awarded a mercy-rule victory.
